Here at Brass we are supporting local breast cancer charity The Haven by creating a bra-art exhibition to raise £1000 as part of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Employees throughout the agency are picking up their glitter, sequins and sewing needles to put their creative flair into decorating bras of all shapes and sizes. A five pound donation will be made for every bra decorated and all entries will be part of an exhibition held at the Headingley office from the 20th of October.

“We are thrilled to be supporting such a deserving charity. We’ve had some early entries in already and all the staff are really throwing themselves into their creations. Make sure you keep an eye on our Twitter page as we will be sharing the best entries throughout the fortnight.”

There will be prizes for the most creative entries, which will be awarded by a judging panel including Tom Robertshaw, senior fundraiser at the Haven.

“The Haven is thrilled that Brass is supporting us this Breast Cancer Awareness Month through their Bra-Art exhibition. The support of local companies is so important to The Haven, as it not only raises vital funds, but also helps raise our awareness in the local community.
“The money Brass raises will help us to continue to provide an outstanding quality of service and care in our Haven, enabling us to transform the lives of anyone in and around Yorkshire who is trying to cope with the impact of breast cancer.”
